School Rules & Regulations

The following rules and regulations apply to all students, parents, and visitors on the SGAMHSS campus. Compliance ensures a safe, orderly, and conducive environment for learning.

General

  • All students and parents must abide by the rules and regulations of the school as well as the Code of Conduct for students.
  • The school reserves the right to amend these rules when necessary. Parents and students will be informed of any changes.
  • Ignorance of any rule will not be accepted as an excuse for non-compliance.

Admission & Registration

  • Admission is subject to availability of seats and fulfilment of eligibility criteria as prescribed by the school.
  • Parents/guardians must submit all required documents and complete the registration process within the stipulated time.
  • Any false information or suppression of facts may lead to cancellation of admission.

Attendance & Punctuality

  • Students must attend school regularly and report on time as per the school timings.
  • Leave of absence must be applied for in advance. In case of illness, the school must be informed and a written application with supporting document should be submitted on return.
  • Repeated absence without valid reason may result in disciplinary action.

Uniform & Dress Code

  • Students must wear the prescribed school uniform on all working days and for all school-related activities unless otherwise specified.
  • Uniform must be clean, neat, and worn correctly. Modifications or non-standard attire are not permitted.
  • Hair, jewellery, and accessories must conform to the dress code specified by the school.

Fees & Payments

  • School fees and other dues must be paid within the stipulated dates.
  • Default in payment may lead to withholding of results, suspension, or other action as per school policy.
  • Refunds and concessions are subject to the school’s fee policy.

Use of Campus & Property

  • School premises, furniture, equipment, and materials must be used with care. Damage or loss caused by negligence or misuse must be compensated for.
  • Students must not bring valuable items, excessive cash, or prohibited articles to school. The school is not responsible for loss of personal belongings.
  • Use of mobile phones and electronic gadgets by students during school hours may be restricted as per school policy.

Parent & Guardian Cooperation

  • Parents/guardians are expected to attend parent-teacher meetings and respond to school communications in a timely manner.
  • Parents must ensure that their wards follow the rules and support the school in maintaining discipline.
