Guidelines to Parents
These guidelines help parents support their child’s learning, health, and safety and work effectively with the school. Please read and follow them for the benefit of your ward.
01
Homework
- Parents are requested to check the student diary daily and ensure that the homework assigned for the next day is completed and the lessons taught are revised.
- Help your child set a regular time and a quiet, well-lit place for doing homework.
- Ask your child to show the completed homework every day to understand what they are learning and to confirm that all assignments are done.
- Encourage your child to share details about the school day. Listen carefully and help them think of solutions if they face any academic or classroom difficulties.
- Parents should ensure that their child utilizes vacation periods effectively for studies and completing assigned work.
- Students should be encouraged to complete classwork and homework independently.
- Parents must countersign the diary and respond promptly to any remarks made by school staff.
02
General Guidelines
- Regular study hours at home help children develop good study habits. Ensure that your child has necessary stationery such as pens, pencils, notebooks, paper, and a dictionary.
- Set aside time to read with your child every day. Encourage reading by making it part of their routine and keeping books and magazines at home.
- To help the school communicate effectively, parents must provide their current mobile number and mailing address at the time of admission. Any change should be informed to the school immediately.
- Parents must visit the school whenever their presence is required, especially in matters related to discipline or academic concerns.
- Parents are requested to respond promptly to all circulars and communications sent through the diary and pay attention to remarks made by teachers.
- Parents should not give large sums of money to children for personal use.
- In case of emergencies during school hours, parents should not send relatives, drivers, or neighbours to collect children without prior written permission.
- No parent is allowed to meet students or hand over items during class hours.
- Parents are strictly prohibited from entering classrooms without prior permission from the school office.
- The school is not responsible for students’ activities outside school hours.
03
Fees
- Payment of fees is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian.
- No advance notice will be given for fee due dates.
- Fees must be paid on or before the 10th of every month.
- A delay in payment will attract a fine of ₹500 per month, as late payment causes unnecessary financial burden to the management.
- Delay in payment of fees will debar the student from appearing for examinations.
- Parents should safely preserve fee receipts and produce them as proof of payment if required.
- Parents are advised to avoid paying fees through representatives. The management will not be responsible for any inconvenience caused.
- Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Admission fees, book fees, monthly fees, and fees for co-curricular and extracurricular activities, uniform, transportation, etc., fixed by the management cannot be restructured for any reason.
